FAQs

Bringing clarity to a new frontier.

The legal status of psychedelics varies by substance, and also varies from country to country.

There are numerous countries in which psychedelics are legal to possess and consume, such as Jamaica and the Netherlands. In the United States, where Inner Vision is based, virtually all psychedelics are illegal. Nonetheless, millions of people continue to work with them.

All of Inner Vision’s services and offerings are legal, and this organization does not participate in any illegal activity.

Please note that we do not, nor will we ever, assist with sourcing psychedelics or any illegal substances. This organization will not work in any capacity to help you procure any psychedelic substance, nor can we refer you to underground guides.

However, we can refer you to legal psychedelic retreat centers around the world.

Inner Vision does not currently offer any psychedelic sessions, nor does it offer trip-sitting services for clients seeking support during their psychedelic experiences. Unfortunately, it would be illegal for us to do so. All of our services are offered for either before or after your psychedelic experience.

Generally speaking, psychedelics are very safe. Psychedelic medicines such as psilocybin, LSD, or DMT are virtually impossible to overdose on, and pose minimal risk to physical health. Every clinical study agrees that psychedelics are non-toxic and non-addictive. Not only that, study after study shows that taking these substances in a safe and supportive setting can be massively beneficial for mental health.

However, it is important to note that there are certain contraindications for each psychedelic. For example, psychedelics can be dangerous if one has pre-existing conditions, or is taking pharmaceutical medications.

The greatest risks posed by psychedelics are not to our physical health, but to our mental health and psychological wellness- if we approach these powerful substances without appropriate support.

The most common psychedelics include Psilocybin (“magic mushrooms”), LSD, DMT (found in Ayahuasca),  Mescaline (found in Peyote or San Pedro cactus), and Ibogaine .

MDMA and Ketamine are two other substances with incredible healing potential. These substances can have some psychedelic effects, but are not among the “classical” psychedelics.

Feel free to discuss any of these substances, or others, with us.

Research has repeatedly demonstrated that psychedelics can provide immense healing for cases of depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance addiction.

One study out of Johns Hopkins University found that after two doses of Psilocybin, 80% of study participants reported significant reductions in symptoms of depression and anxiety (Griffiths, 2016).

That being said, it’s important that we recognize that psychedelics are not an instant cure. Psychedelics do not bring us to the “finish line“- rather they represent a new beginning.

Healing is an ongoing process which continues after the experience wears off. After the psychedelic experience, we have to integrate our new psychedelic insights, and put them into practice in our everyday lives.

We’re here to support that journey every step of the way.
